Troy worked for a national based company, preparing and lodging tax returns for clients. He developed a keen interest in negative gearing and ways to minimise tax and make it work for the client. Troy left the world of tax to join the world of building, keen to learn more about the other side of negative gearing In 2001, after gaining valuable information about the building industry, he decided to again study so as he could become a mortgage broker. From here he took up a position with Wizard Home Loans. Troy gained experience assisting first home buyers to professional investors and many self employed business owners.

Today, Troy is the Director of his own mortgage company. He has had great success and enjoys helping find the best solution for each and every client. Troy has completed the Financial Services Institute of Australia course and is a Certified Mortgage consultant with the Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia.

Along with his full membership of the MFAA he is a member of the Credit Ombudsman Service, external disputes resolution scheme.
As a father of 2, Troy is a keen supporter of the Make a Wish Foundation. For each and every loan settled through Financial Tune ups, Troy makes a donation.
